Me'Thule, one of the five great golems of the Hand. The golems and their drivers were called to action and formed by thte King to protect the Kindom of Vanear from the great dragon Yegdra and his children. Me'Thule like the other golems was given drivers of exceptional ability and given as some would say an unbelievable task...destroy Yegdra.
 
The Hand hunted down Yegdra and were successful in fighting him back into the recesses of Mythos but, the cost was great. Me'Thule's driver Sir Ladavacis knight of the kingdom was slain by Yegdra in battle. By the laws of the binding spell, that should have destroyed Me'Thule but, it did not. Me'Thule absorbed his driver spirit and became a free Golem, the first-ever free golem ever recorded. He was able to push back Yegdra with the help of the other drivers and Golems but, they were not able to destroy the evil dragon. 
 
Me'Thule now lives as a free golem and has assumed the mantel of his former driver Sir Ladavacis as a Knight of the Kindom. He is well known and respected among the citizens of Vaner and is known to be a protector of the weak.
